Bacon-Wrapped Chicken

  • 2 boneless and skinless chicken breasts, cut lengthwise (4 servings)
  • 8 thin strips of bacon

For Marinade:

  • 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1⁄2 tsp chili flakes
  • 1⁄2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1⁄2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp fennel seed powder
  • 1⁄2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp salt


  • Preheat the oven to 400°.
  • Clean the prepared boneless and skinless chicken breasts.
  • In a bowl mix, the ingredients for the marinade.
  • Marinate the chicken breasts with half of the marinade.
  • Wrap the chicken breasts with two strips of bacon each.
  • Place the chicken breasts on the baking pan.
  • Sprinkle the remaining marinade over the wrapped chicken breasts.
  • Bake the wrapped chicken breasts for 15 minutes.
  • Turn over and bake for another 15 minutes or until cooked through.
  • Broil the chicken breasts for another 2 minutes.
  • Remove the chicken breasts and allow them to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
