Fried Fish by Air Fryer

(Air Fryer Fish/Air Fryer Fish Fry)

Ingredients
  

  • 3 pieces of Frozen Tilapia Filet *
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • ½ tsp kashmiri chili powder
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1-½ tbsp corn oil or vegetable oil

Instructions
 

  • Defrost frozen fish.
  • Wash fish in lemon juice and salt. Rinse well and drain the water.
  • For the Masala mix - Add all spices together. Mix well. Then add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and mix. Then add 1 ½ tablespoon of oil and mix well.
  • Spread masala mix all over the fish pieces.**
  • Use non-stick spray or rub a little oil on the foil or the basket to prevent sticking.
  • Place marinated fish into the air fryer basket in one single layer.
  • Set the air fryer to 370° and cook for 15 minutes on one side.***
  • Flip fish pieces over and cook again for 8 more minutes.
  • Cut a small piece of the fish and check to make sure it is cooked through. If it needs more time, cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from the air-fryer and let rest on a plate.
  • Air Fryer Fish is ready to eat! Enjoy.

Notes

Air Fryer Chicken can be eaten with any side dish, salad, rice, veggies, make a sandwich or by itself.
*You can also use salmon, kingfish, etc. for this recipe. You may also use fresh or frozen fish.
**You may marinate fish in the refrigerator for 20-30 mins or you can use it right away.
***Thicker pieces of fish might need more time. The temperature will vary by air fryer. Adjust according to the directions of your air fryer.
Optional: Add a foil piece to the bottom of the air fryer basket to catch oil for easy clean-up.
