Fruit Salad

Step 1:

  • 15 oz. can of Fruit Cocktail, drained
  • 20 oz. can of pineapple chunks, drained
  • 15 oz. can of Mandarin Oranges, drained
  • 1 cup of red grapes, each one cut in half
  • 1 cup of green grapes, each one cut in half
  • 1 small apple, cut into small pieces (about 1 cup)

Step 2:

  • 14 oz. can of condensed milk
  • 8 oz of Philadelphia cream cheese, at room temperature

Step 3:

  • Pinch of salt
  • 1⁄2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 5-8 maraschino cherries, cut in half for garnish


Step 1:

  • Drain the canned fruits and fruit cocktails.
  • Combine all the fruits and set them aside in the refrigerator.

Step 2:

  • Combine the condensed milk and the 8 oz package of Philadelphia cream cheese.
  • Using a whisk or a handheld blender, whisk the condensed milk and the cream cheese until it reaches a smooth consistency.

Step 3:

  • Add the chilled fruits to the condensed milk and cream cheese batter.
  • Add a pinch of salt and 1⁄2 teaspoon of cardamom.
  • Combine well and garnish with the maraschino cherries.
  • Chill before serving.
  • The Simple Fruit Salad is ready to serve.



You can use all fresh fruits (Kiwi, Mango, Banana, strawberry are good options) or you can use fruit cocktails available in cans. I used Del Monte products.
You can add marshmallows, nuts, raisins, or sweetened coconut flakes if you choose.
