Spicy Indian Meatballs

  • 1 pound of meatballs (fully cooked – homemade or store-bought)*
  • 2 1⁄2 cups of spaghetti sauce
  • 1⁄2 cup (each) of green and red bell peppers, cut into squares
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, diced
  • 1 tbsp. ginger, minced
  • 1⁄2 small green chili, minced

For Dry Seasoning:

  • 1⁄2 tsp red chili flakes
  • 1⁄2 tsp black pepper
  • 1⁄2 tsp fennel seed
  • 1⁄2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1⁄2 tsp thyme
  • 1⁄2 tsp oregano
  • 1⁄2 tsp parsley
  • 2 tbsps of oil
  • salt to taste


  • In a pan, heat the oil.
  • And when the oil is hot, add the fennel seed.
  • When the fennel seed is slightly browned, add the following: ginger, onion, garlic, and green chili.
  • Sauté for a few minutes until slightly browned.
  • Add green and red bell peppers.
  • Sauté for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the meatballs and dry seasoning.
  • Mix well for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Add the spaghetti sauce and add salt for taste.
  • Cook on medium heat until the meatballs are well-coated.
  • . Indian meatballs can be served with spaghetti or on a bread as asandwich.
  • Indian Meatballs is ready to serve. Enjoy



This dish is best served with spaghetti.
*If you are using frozen meatballs, you can steam the meatballs in order to defrost.
